Meet Julia Grace…

Hi, I’m Julia Grace Gillen—and yes, it’s a double name. I grew up in the South, where hospitality runs deep and so does a love for good conversation, good food, and moving your body.

My path to physical therapy started with a fascination for how the human body works and a desire to help people feel strong, capable, and pain-free in their everyday lives.

I graduated with academic honors from the College of Charleston with a degree in Exercise Science. I traded the beach for the mountains and moved to Jackson, Wyoming for a year. Then went on to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy back in Charleston from the Medical University of South Carolina. As much as I loved the coast, my heart was being pulled back out west.

Now, I’m living my dream in a small mountain town in Wyoming—where the air is less salty but the trails are never far away. I’ve built a solo PT practice that focuses on one-on-one care, personalized treatment plans, and helping people get back to doing what they love—whether that’s chasing kids, climbing peaks, or just living without pain. I mix clinical knowledge with a friendly, down-to-earth approach (and a little fun), because rehab doesn’t have to be boring!

Fun Facts . . .

Julia Grace

  • It’s a double name. I won’t answer to one. Double or nothing (and by nothing, I mean JG). Bonus points if you say it with a southern accent.

Favorite food?

  • I eat candy like its oxygen. Anything sour. I probably have a bigger sweet tooth than you. But — I won’t eat sour patch kids becuase they’re not sour enough. IYKYK.

Pet peeves?

  • “I’ve been icing it”, “rest”, “bone on bone”, “my hamstrings are tight”. Come to my TED talks.

Favorite winter activity?

  • Face shots, duh. JK - probably yapping on the skin track with friends in our perfect snow globe we call home.

Favorite summer activity?

  • Finding a trail to run, preferably with ample wild flowers and some cold water to jump in. Soaking in every single second of daylight. Which means staying up past my 9:30pm bedtime.
